THE WEEK IN REVIEW
The guys continue to work hard with the focus on speed really shifting into high gear. It will continue to be the focus through conference and state.
We again had great performances in our meet against Hamilton. We had some guys swimming events that were very different for them, but they stepped up to the task. These swims are important to give guys a mental a physical break from the normal events and for me to look forward to conference and even to next season.
I owe a huge "Thank You" to the parents for all of their help through our heavy home meet schedule. Your food, hospitality, thumbs, and encouragement during and after every home meet has been a huge part of the success of this season, and a great example for the boys on our team and those that visited.

Another way to check on the results on meets that we are hosting, is a new free iPhone app called "Meet Mobile" it can be used on your iPad as well.

- There is no bus transportation for this meet.
A LOOK AHEAD
- Taper Begins this week for swimmers not qualified for state.
- Swimmers need to have a pair of tights by Wednesday.
- I suggest tights that don't have the feet so the feet don't have to be cut off leading to frayed tights.
- Wednesday, Feb 22nd will be our Haircut Day after practice. More information next week.
- Thursday, Feb 23rd - Diving Prelims and Pasta meal for swimmers.
- This will also be the night of shave down.
- All swimmers will shave down.
- If your have questions about what taper is and why shave down is included in it, here is a link to a great article about it.
