A Great Start to the Season

So far things are going quite well for the team. I am impressed with the progress that the young, less experienced athletes are making. However, we have a lot of wrk to do to get to where we want to be.

For much of the team, we will have our first opportunity to really get a feel for where we are and what we need to do when we swim against West Ottawa on Tuesday.

I was very happy with the overall performance of those that swam in the 66th annual Cereal Bowl Relays this past Saturday.

THE WEEK AHEAD
Monday, Dec 3rd - A normal practice until 6:00 for swimmers. and a normal practice for divers.

Tuesday, Dec 4th - First Home Dual Meet vs. West Ottawa

There Will Be A Special Parent Social Before the Meet Up in the Stands

  • Parents - Please get to the meet by 6:00
  • A great opportunity to meet the other parents and the Tanis' have will have some spectacular cupcakes available for you as well.
The remainder of the week is a normal practice schedule including Saturday.

A LOOK AHEAD
Tuesday, Dec 11th - Dual meet up in Ludington.
  • We will leave by 3:45 so give your son some additional snacks for the bus ride up. We will be home around 10:00.

Tuesday, Dec 18th - Home meet vs Otsego
  • I am working with the pool, our visiting coach, and our musical directors to figure out how to get athletes where they need to be in time for the Christmas concert that takes place that night.
  • We will be starting at 6:15 after a shortened warmup
  • We will run diving simultaneously with swimming
  • I have a concert schedule (girls choir is first) and will set up the lineup so everyone that needs to can get out in time.
