Alumni Competing in College Conference Meets

We have seven HC alums that are swimming and diving in their respective college Conference Championships this weekend and next weekend.

Jenison aquatic center is hosting the MIAA Championships which started last night. The Maroons are well represented at the MIAA. Adam Alexander (Jr-IM, Fly) and Alex Baumann (FR-200, 500, other) are competing for Calvin while freshman Jeff Zita is swimming for Hope (IM, Breast).

Samantha Klaasen is Coach Klaasen's daughter, and a Senior at Calvin. She is tearing it up on both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter boards.

Out in Pennsylvania, Junior E.J. Leuschner will be competing in the James E. Longnecker Invitational which serves as a Conference championship for two different athletic conferences.  The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). E.J will be competing for Groves City College, another quality NCAA Division 3 program. He is swimming Freestyle events this weekend.

Live Results for the James E. Longnecker Invitational can be found here.

Freshman Kelsey Weener is swimming for Olivet Nazarene in the sprint freestyle events.
Results for the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Championships can be a bit hard to follow, but you can find them here.

Finally, sophomore Colby Haan will be swimming in the Summit League Championships for Division 1 Oakland University at his home pool in Rochester next Weekend.
