If it's nice to just get a meet in-the-books, it's even better to finally have our home-opener! Lots of positives from tonight. An almost completely new Medley Relay of Emily Slenk (the lone repeat), C. Johnson, K. Heeres, and A. Sall got a State Cut. Also, Syd (200 Free) and Ash (200 IM) added new State Cuts. Moreover, just from last week, we had a TON of season-best times, which is partially to be expected. We even had a few swimmers (Jade DeMeester in the 50 Free and 100 Free and Erica Slenk in the 50 Free) who had lifetime best times already, which is awesome! Most importantly, I felt overall better about our collective attitude going into each swim. Before the meet, we talked about being able to refocus and get positive before each swim/dive, and I think we took a big step toward that tonight. Check out the results below!
