Zone 5 Coach of the Year!
If you see coach Ben Herrman in the halls or on the pool deck, make sure you congratulate him. Ben was named MISCA Zone 5 Coach of the Year.
MISCA is the Michigan Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association and the Zone award is one voted on by area coaches in the area from all three swimming and diving divisions. Because it is local, the coaches voting on the award are able to see the entirety of a coaches work for a season (not just the State Meet). For that reason it is a very special award.
Though a coach is only as good as the athletes he or she coaches (and Coach Herrman has a great bunch of girls to coach), Ben's passion for the sport and the team he coaches is a large reason for their success.
Congratulations Coach for the well deserved recognition
