The Wild Week That Was & A Look Ahead.

Funny thing about this, is that much of this blog post came directly from the same week last year.

THE WEEK IN REVIEWStep 1 Start with a day off from school, and a nice three hour practice.
Step 2 Mix in a close meet with our pool mates, Exciting from start to finish.
Step 3 Add in two more snow days and a met with one of the top teams in the state.
Step 4 Finish it off with a little bleaching solution and a hairy ride in on Saturday.

The result is one wild week.

Thank you all for your help, communication, and encouragement.

With the conference meet just over three weeks away, guys need to stay focused on what we have to accomplish.
MEET SPLITS from Tuesday's meet against Holland - I was so proud of how we competed at this meet. 18 best performances and several other first performances and just missing the win. GREAT JOB!

MEET SPLITS from Thursday's meet against EGR -  Another good meet despite moving a lot of athletes around for this meet. Another 14 personal bests.

THE WEEK AHEADThis Week's Practice & Meet Notes and Special EventsReminder: Times on the calendar for meets are the times that the athletes must be on deck or that the bus will be departing from the Aquatic Center.

  • Tuesday, Jan. 28th We have a home meet vs Hamilton. Athletes should be on deck by 5:15. Meet starts at 6:30.
  • Thursday, Jan. 3oth The meet we had rescheduled against Spring Lake has been canceled. I should have never said yes to the reschedule, but the missed practice on Friday was the final nail in the decision.

Further On Up the Road Conference Meet is just under 3 weeks away (Feb. 21 & 22). Amazing! We have lots to do between now and then. Lots of things yet to accomplish.
