Grandville Results

Well, we pulled-out a close one against Grandville tonight, winning 94-92!  We were swimming a bit of an off line-up and had to do some tough racing in the second-half, which we took care of.  We definitely showed some grit, which is always good to see.  Anyway, plenty of solid swims!  And, three of our divers, Brooke Hirdes, Areal Tolsma, and Meredith Sooy had season-high 6-dive scores!  Results and notable swims listed below...

• Mackenzie: 6+ second drop in the 200 Freestyle
• Ana Snow: solid drop in the 50 free to a 31.27
• Emily Slenk: smashed her 100 Fly time to go 1:04.57 and pick up a new State Cut!
• Erica Slenk: 1+ second drop in the 100 Free and first time under 1:00
• Jordyn Breuker: 2+ second drop in the 100 Fly
• Robyn Ellens: 4+ second drop in the open 100 Free
• Hannah Visser: solid drop and first time under 1:01 in the 100 Free
• Katherine Heeres: .5 second drop in the 100 Free
• Caylin Hirdes: 30+ second drop from her lifetime best in the 500 Free
• Val Edewaard: broke 6:00 in the 500 her first time swimming it!
