The Week Ahead: 9.29 to 10.4

Patience and perseverance
have a magical effect
before which difficulties disappear
and obstacles vanish.
~John Quincy Adams

First, a huge THANKS to everyone who helped make our D3 Invite a success yesterday!  It was a well-run opportunity for a group of D3 teams to get together and compete.  As we hosted the meet, we had lots of people associated with our team playing a role in putting it on.  Specifically, thanks to Todd Smeenge for being the Meet Manager (and alum parent Nancy Jager for stepping in while he went to a wedding), Rich Klaasen for returning to help run/coach diving, Theresa Asselin for setting up the timers, Tina Moralez for running the hospitality, and Dan Moralez and Art Tolsma for doing the announcing.  And, we have plenty more that helped time, siblings that helped post results and hand out awards, etc...so thanks to everyone who played a part!

As for this week, a pretty standard week with a Tuesday dual meet and a normal Saturday practice time.  Hopefully, our Monday off of school provides a good opportunity to get caught up on our sleep to start the week.  Our dual meet against Holland is going to be a fun one, so let's get as many people out for it as possible! Also, if anyone would like to take on providing breakfast on Saturday morning, let me know...
