As we approach the championship segment that marks the last portion of our season, we need to make sure that our focus doesn't drift too far into the future toward those meets. Rather, we need to stay in the moment, focusing on what we're tasked with on a specific day, for a specific part of practice, making sure that our effort level and focus are high. We need to keep sight on the things that are going to propel us toward our final goals, not on the final goals themselves. We need to take one small, quality step at a time.
It's crazy that we're approaching our last dual meet of the season this coming Tuesday. As any of our seniors will tell you, each season, and high school overall, goes way too fast. Let's make the most of each opportunity we still have before us!
Tuesday 10.24
- AWAY MEET @ Byron Center
- ***Note earlier times than usual***
- Bus leaves SCHOOL @ 3:30pm. (location change for departure)
- Warm Up @ 4:30pm. Meet Start @ 5:30pm.
- No food after the meet from BC. We will provide boxed meals from school.
Saturday 10.28
- Saturday Practice: 7:00am to 9:00am.
- If you're taking the ACT, please let Ben/Diane know ahead of time.
- Breakfast to follow, so plan rides accordingly!
