Hello Everyone,
We wrapped up week five of the season and started Christmas break this past week. Even with the break, the team stayed engaged and continued to build on the work we’ve been doing all season. It was a good time to rest, enjoy time with family, and recharge before jumping back into training. As we head into this week, we’re excited for our first invitational meet and the opportunity to compete together. Go Maroons!
Here is our schedule for this coming week. Also, please let me know if you will be missing any practices due to prior scheduling.
**We will be starting practice at 7am, not arriving to the pool at 7am
- Monday, 12/29: Pool 7-9 am @ Holland Aquatic Center (HAC)
- Tuesday, 12/30: Swim Meet @ Grand Ledge (more info below)
- Wednesday, 12/31: Pool 7-9 am @ HAC
- Thursday, 1/1 No Practice New Year's Day
- Friday, 1/2: Pool 7-9 am @ HAC
- Saturday, 1/3 Pool: 7:15 - 9:15 @ HAC
9th Annual Curt Pals Swim and Dive “Wildcat” Invitational
Our first invitational meet will take place on Tuesday, Dec 30, at Grand Ledge Community Pool. The bus will be leaving the High School at 9 AM. If you live closer to Zeeland, the bus will also stop at the Zeeland Park and Ride. If you are planning to be picked up by the bus in Zeeland, it will be leaving there at 9:25 AM. Warmup for the meet starts at 11am.
Diving:
- 8:15 a.m. Locker rooms will be unlocked
- 8:30 a.m. Diving warm-ups begin
- 10:00 a.m. Diving competition begins
- 11:00 a.m. Swim warm-ups begin
- 12:00 p.m. Swimming competition begins (or will start as soon as diving concludes)
- ***There will be a 15 minute break between the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly.
