What a solid, fun meet! With it coming down to the last relay, it was truly a team victory. From a points perspective, we had our A swimmers down to our C swimmers contributing. However, most importantly, we were able to stay positive and in high spirits throughout the meet, which is an absolute must in order to win a close meet. It is this combination of team character and improvements in the pool (not necessarily all in times) that is going to carry us throughout the season to Conference and State in November. That is how we are going to reach our full potential, both as a team and as individuals.

New State Cuts for Michelle Jager in the 200 Freestyle and Kaylie Wierda in the 50 Freestyle. New season-best times for... Well, I was going to start listing people, but I'm pretty sure each swimmer had at least one new season-best time! Also, big shout-out to Brianna Genzink, Olivia Meiste, and Meg VanderPloeg for going 1-2-3 in diving!
Thanks to all the parents and fans that came out to support us tonight! It's great hearing the Aquatic Center so loud.
Tomorrow, we go back to work...
