WM Relays Results

Although we had to endure a much longer (and hotter!) than expected day at West Ottawa yesterday, we certainly came away from the West Michigan Relays with some good results!  The all-relay format is fun to do for a meet, and with things being spread out a little more, it gives us good practice in warming up and cooling down for each event, similar to what we'll have to do at our Invite, Conference, and State.  It was also nice for Lisa and I to be able to watch one swimmer in the water at a time, versus three or four.  Anyway, here are some notable swims:

  • Bria VanKampen: 31.07 50 Fly split, 26.98 50 Free split
  • Erica Slenk: 1:12.73 100 Breast split
  • Emily Slenk: 1:05.73 100 IM split
  • Hannah Visser: 32.91 50 Back split, 1:01.02 100 Free split
  • Jade DeMeester: 1:02.53 100 Free split
  • Anna Franz: 1:07.25 100 Back
