Spring Lake Results

Real solid first home meet tonight!  With a little more of a regular meet feel (competing in 4 full events, actually having a working scoreboard...), we now have an even better feel for where we're beginning. Conditioning will certainly come as we get farther into the season, which will help those 3rd and 4th races, but overall we took another good step tonight.

Notable improvements:

• Meredith Sooy: lifetime 6-dive high score of 152.45
• Val Edewaard: State Cut of 26.04 in the 50 Free
• Hannah Visser: .02 off her life-time best in the 50 Free
• Erica Slenk: lifetime best in the 200 IM
• Sara DeYoung: lifetime best in the 50 Freestyle (& Ms. Save-A-Lot in the 500)
• Jaclyn Overway: lifetime best in the 50 free and 500 free (10+ second drop!)
• Lindsey Riemersma: 2.3 second drop in the 50 free
• Jenni Franz: lifetime best in the 100 free
• Anna Franz: lifetime best in the 100 free
• Katherine Heeres: State Cuts in the 200 Free and 100 Fly
• Emily Slenk: 1.7 second drop in the 100 Back (also a State Cut)
• Taylor Moralez: 1.8 second drop in the 100 Breast
• Ashley Klaasen: lifetime best in the 100 Free (as a relay split)
