Growth - Resilience - Intensity - Tenacity
This Team Is Built On It
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58
This was a great full week of practices and it feels like we are starting to get into a little rhythm. From a coaching standpoint, it's good to have all of the more minor administrative elements of the season behind me and it's good to see the boys starting to gain some conditioning as we prepare for our first meet of the season.
We finished the week with swimmers participating in the annual Aquaman Challenge. This is a great check of current conditioning. You can see the results here and, for those returning athletes, you can compare them to last years first challenge. Like last year, we will repeat these later in the season to see our improvement through the season.

PARENT HELPERS
Thanks to those who were able to make it to the parent meeting on Tuesday. For those who were not able to make it, Here is the document with basic information about the season. One of the topics that was discussed was the need for parent help in a variety of areas. Melanie Huisman and Lisa Windemuller are coordinating all of the areas noted on this document. We need parent leaders in some of the different areas yet. If you are interested in leading, please contact Lisa or Melanie.
There are some areas that you can sign up to help with out leading the group (Breakfasts, timing, snacks, etc.). Those sign ups are linked in the right hand banner of this website labeled "Parent signups." Please use that to signup to help when and where you can.
CHRISTMAS BREAK
As we look ahead, I am still waiting to hear from HAC about our CHRISTMAS BREAK PRACTICES. I will hopefully have details by the end of next week.
