For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths. Proverbs 5:21
"God created you to (you were born to) live with a single, all-embracing, all-transforming
passion to glorify God by enjoying and displaying His supreme excellence in ALL spheres of life.”
~ John Piper, Don’t Waste Your Life
As a team, we are entering this sphere of our life, pursuing it as just one way to enjoy and
display all of God's excellence. Like last season, we have a relatively large group of young men
to build this team for the rest of the season, we still have a couple more details to attend to
this week that will hopefully help athletes feel part of a team and parents have a better grasp
on what lies ahead.
Check out the details below the practice schedule for the week.
Parents, we need your help to make this season a success.
Here are signup links
for areas where parents can help.

Car Pools
I think our car pools from school to the pool are set. Please let me know if
there are any concerns. Make sure you communicate any change in plans for a
day with drivers. You can see the list on the opening day slideshow.
Parent Night I'm planning on having a parent meeting on Tuesday night at 5:45pm at the
Aquatic Center. Though this is a brief meeting in which we will talk through
the season plans and areas where you can help throughout the season, I really
think it's important for as many family representatives as possible to be
there to get to know one another.
Communication
Besides this blog and email, there are a couple of other ways I try to
communicate. Most announcements will be sent via Remind, and you can keep
tabs on practice and meet times and locations by using Eventlink, which can
also be used to buy tickets for home meets. More information can be found on
the opening day slideshow.
A Look Ahead
Our first dual meet will be a home meet on
December 5th against
West Ottawa.
- Meet Starts at 6:30pm
- Athletes should be on deck at the Aquatic Center at 5:15pm
