Week #3: 8/26-8/30

We had a great second week of practices! It was a full and busy week with school starting, settling into our regular ETS and practice schedule, and having our first meet. I am proud of you girls for staying positive and working hard. The meet on Thursday was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to race/dive with all the teams in our conference. I am excited for what this season will bring!

This Week:

Monday, 8/26: Pool 4:00-6:00pm

Tuesday, 8/27: Meet day!!

**PICTURES: Team/Individual pictures will be taken at the HAC at 3:00pm on 8/27 (before meet). Girls will take their carpools to the pool for pictures. Swimmers and divers will be wearing a white shirt and jeans. Seniors should also bring their black team jackets. After the pictures at the HAC, we'll return to HC to board the bus at 4:00pm.

Away vs. Hudsonville and Forest Hills

     •  Hudsonville High School (3370 Allen St., Hudsonville, MI 49426)

     • Bus is leaving the HS at 4:00pm.

     • Warm-Up at 5:00pm. Meet starts at 6:00pm.

     • We will make a stop at the Zeeland Park and Ride on the way to and from the meet.

Wednesday, 8/28: ETS 3:00-3:45pm, Pool 4:00-6:00pm

Thursday, 8/29: Pool 4:00-6:00pm

**Football Cleanup After Game: This will go fast with many helping hands! Please plan on staying after the game and help us clean up. This is a great fundraising opportunity for our team.

Friday, 8/30: ETS 6:45-7:30am, Pool 8:00-10:00am

Monday, September 2 - We will be having practice at the Hope College Dow Pool from 6:00-8:00pm. The address for the Dow is 168 E. 13th St. Holland, MI 49423.

Tuesday, September 3 - Home meet vs. TK and Byron Center at the HAC at 6:30pm

Friday, September 6 - West Michigan Relay Diving Meet at 5:00pm

Saturday, September 7 - West Michigan Relay Swim Meet at 10:00am

Tuesday, September 10 - Away meet vs. Hamilton at Hamilton MS at 6:30pm

Other Notes:

• Football Cleanups: We have finalized our football cleanup dates. This is a great fundraiser for our team! It goes really quickly with helping hands. Below are the dates our team will be responsible for cleaning up after the home football games:

            - Thursday, August 29
            - Friday, September 13
            - Friday, October 11

• Volunteer Opportunities: Parents, thank you to all of you who have signed up to bring snacks, time, make sack dinners, etc. We truly appreciate it! HERE is the link for the volunteer opportunities. We couldn't do it without you. Thanks!

• Pictures: If you are planning on ordering individual/team pictures, please bring the picture form on Tuesday, August 27 for picture day. If you need another form, please let Erica or Diane know.

• Pop Can Fundraiser: We are collecting pop cans to raise money for our team discretionary funds. These funds are used for a variety of different things for the girls throughout the season. When you have money from the returned pop cans, you can give it to a coach. The top three girls who raise the most money will get a prize!

• Caps: If you are interested in purchasing a silicone cap, they are $15 a cap. Please bring cash or check to Coach Erica and she will get one for you.

• Final Forms: Parents, please check Final Forms and make sure all of the information is filled out and that you have paid. Thank you!
