- For anyone planning on swimming at Hamilton: although age group practices don't technically start until late May, even if you aren't signing up for USA you're welcome to begin practicing when the USA group starts next Monday, April 30th.
- If you haven't already done so, take a look at the link under the Summer Opportunities heading on the top-right side of the page!
- HC is partnering with Lakeshore Health Partners on Monday, April 30th from 6:00 to 9:00pm to provide physicals for next school year.
- Here's a LINK to the email that was sent out, which includes sign up information, contact information, etc.
- I'm proud to announce that last week I received notice that our women's team achieved Team Academic All-State. In order to receive this distinction, a team must have one of the top 10 average cumulative GPAs in their division. In D3, we placed 9th with an average GPA of 3.66. This is a great testament to the fact that we take ourselves seriously both in the pool and in the classroom. Way to go, ladies!
- In addition to the team recognition, Sara Plambeck and Kelsey Weener also received the distinction of achieving Individual Academic All-State. In order to receive this distinction, a senior must have received a varsity letter in her senior year and have a cumulative GPA of 3.75. For Kelsey and Sara, this is well-deserved recognition for four years of hard work!
Within the next week, look for information regarding dates for our team retreat for the 2012 season and a date for a team meeting to discuss captains for next year...stay tuned!
~Ben
