This time of the year can test how much our body and mind can endure. Teammates can get on each other's nerves a bit more easily, the monotony of practices can drive us a bit crazy, and the constant ache of muscles or the redness of smacked backs makes us wonder what feeling "normal" really is. These are the times when we have to remind ourselves to PRESS ON! Press On through that next practice. Press On through the next set. Press On through the next 25.Similarly, life's challenges require us to Press On. We need to press on to forget the things behind. Forget the mistakes, forget the disappointments, forget the regrets and press on to the higher calling.
THE UPCOMING WEEK
MEETS: January 23 - Home v Zeeland
This marks the beginning of our conference competition. Let's dress up at school for this meet.

- Warmup at 5:30
- Meet begins at 6:30.
- Bus departs the Aquatic Center at 4:45
- Zeeland pick at 5:00
- Warmup at 6:00
- Meet begins at 7:00.
PRACTICES:
Mon, Wed: 3:20-6:00
Friday: 3:20-5:30 followed by Hair Bleaching
Hair Bleaching - Friday, January 26th, 5:30 - 7:00ish
As we get closer to the end of the season, hair has become very chlorine damaged and is ready to be cut short for the championship meets. In the meantime, we have some fun with it. It is a year end, team bonding tradition.
This is never required, and an athlete and parent waiver form / permission slip will be coming out on Monday. Please fill that out and get it back to me before Friday.

Here is some information about Tech Suits. As we get closer to the championship portion of our season, tech suits might be something that some may want to consider. Team pricing can be found here. I would try to get orders in by the end of next week (January 27ish).
