It's D3 Invitational week! This meet is always a highlight of the season. It will be a great way to measure where we're at halfway through. There will be lots of exciting and close races! Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep this week. Let's get excited, have energy, and cheer loud. We're proud of you girls!

Monday: Pool 4:00-6:00pm
Tuesday: Meet Day!!
Home Meet vs. Unity Christian at the Holland Aquatic Center
• Warm-up starts at 5:30pm. Meet starts at 6:30pm.
• Be on deck by 5:10pm for devotions.

Wednesday: ETS 3:00-3:45pm, Pool 4:00-6:00pm
Thursday: Meet with Sam Herzog at HCHS at 3:15pm, Pool 4:00-6:00pm
- We will be meeting with Sam Herzog, the owner of Grounded Sport and Performance Psychology, at HCHS from 3:15-4:00pm on Thursday. **This was on the blog for last week, but we had the date wrong. We will be meeting this Thursday :)
Saturday: D3 Invite!
• Please be on deck by 10:10am for devotions.
• Warm-up starts at 10:30am. The meet starts at 12:00pm.
• We are looking for more timers for this meet. Please sign up HERE if you are able and interested!
• Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or pre-purchased HERE.
Format of Meet:
• This is a 12 team invitational with Division 3 schools.
• Each team is limited to 4 entries per individual event and 3 entries per relay (A, B, and C). As this is much more limited than a dual meet lineup, I will do my best to get people at least 1+ swim while maintaining our fastest possible lineup.
• The top 16 overall score in each event, regardless of heat. A and B relays can score.
• Awards will be handed out during the meet to the top 3 for each relay and top 8 for each individual event.
• Divers will compete an 11-dive meet that will run simultaneously with swimming.
Looking Ahead:
- Tuesday, October 7 - Away Meet vs. Grand Rapids Christian at Calvin University (7:00pm start time)
- Friday, October 10 - Football cleanup after the game at HCHS
- Tuesday, October 14 - Away Meet vs. Spring Lake at Spring Lake High School (6:30pm start time)
- Saturday, October 18 - MISCA meet at the Holland Aquatic Center (12:00pm start time)
Other Notes:
• Football Cleanups: Below are the dates our team will be responsible for cleaning up after the home football games:

• Volunteer Opportunities: Parents, thank you to all of you who have signed up to bring snacks, time, make sack dinners, etc. We truly appreciate it! HERE is the link for the volunteer opportunities. We couldn't do it without you. Thanks!
• Pop Can Fundraiser: We will be handing out the prizes for the pop can fundraiser on Monday! If you still have your money at home, please turn this in by Monday.
• Caps: If you are interested in purchasing a silicone cap, they are $15 a cap. Please bring cash or check to Coach Erica and she will get one for you. Each girl will receive one free latex cap.
